How is it that we have come to an ethical divide such as this? Humane intercession for the illegal and near complete disregard for the troubled American citizen while admitting they are dying in record number, now? The system is broken and has failed, but will we allow to it fail our most vulnerable while protecting the illegals among us?

Two articles from Denver newspapers, both speaking of homeless people. One of “Migrants,” which is not P/C for illegals, and the one of “Citizens,” which is now P/C for homeless
One of civil government working openly with landlords and paying fees and such to get expedited housing and the other..
Of drug plague and death that crawls the streets and the far distant hope of housing maybe one day
How is this happening at the same time in the same city on the same streets under the same mayor and yet it is with homelessness numbers spiking in 2023, go figure
Let’s look at His word as we start today

The man or woman who sneak across our border to find work, get medical care, schooling for children, escape violence, all are noble ideals, but at what cost to the tax paying American citizen
Have these men and women and others been checked, verified and do we know that we know that they mean no harm to us, the American nation? No disease, terrorist, bioterrorist, or threat of that nature, do we know?
How do we justify to our wounded veterans and those left behind that we cannot take of them because we are too busy and too strapped financially, physically yet as a Christian nation, balance, yet, not giving away our resources
Migrants Score Housing
This is no rumor, unchecked facts, or story that has no root of reality. We have read enough stories and seen enough news to know exactly what our government has Choosen to do and give and surrender to the illegals that wander, unchecked, across our borders.
We have military and other professionals living on the streets and suffering untold horrors after they have given their best to this nation or to their employers. Life then dealt them a hard blow and as a result, they needed a Hand Up and we failed them, but we do not fail the illegal, how is this?
We have means, and routes and procedures to bring the people of other lands into the nation rightfully and through the open front door, but our leaders continue to use the sneaky, immoral back door and to what means, to further destabilize this nation and its people of all stations?
American Dream Lost
What was the American Dream, home ownership, money banked for retirement, good health and health care, children well cared for and educated, and a job that created a career that you could enjoy. Sadly, most of that American Dream has died or is actively dying. The recessions of the 70’s and 80’s and the 2008 panic and the Pandemic have dealt it a harsh ending
Grandpa and Grandma are now working after retirement, death of a spouse means homelessness or a job late into old age, health care is more unaffordable since Obamacare than before, nursing homes are shutting down, the Dream has died, unless you are here illegally!
I personally have a very hard time understanding, as one who worked until disability ended my ability to work, how we are surrendering this Dream so easily to those that have no vested interest in this nation or its wellbeing and the only Dream they carry is to aide those in their native country
I know that there are moral requirements as a Christian nation, but none of those require us to give away our freedoms, liberties, or security, we are on the wrong path, the church must wake up. Allowing this pattern to continue, to let the America that was founded on freedom and liberty for all, to continue down of a path of moral decay and death, will cause her demise and this cannot be accepted
Death and Despair Marginalized
The article recounts and speaks on the increasing number of deaths on the streets and the unknown inability to bring them under any level of control. The aim of the large part of the blame on the increase of drugs or fentanyl and its fatal effects
The article goes on to quote a bunch of numbers, such as 166 deaths on the streets for 2023 which is a 50.4% increase and a first-time homeless increase of 51.7%, and in the Denver Metro area alone it is u 31.7% and then at the end it throws in the addiction, fentanyl
Death and suffering are crawling the streets, and the numbers are spiking, but the causse’ mentioned is drugs, how is it that in a crisis the focus can remain so very skewed and misrepresentative of the real issues. People are dying and becoming homeless, and fentanyl is the cause or the result of being houseless?
Citizens are Labeled and NIMBY Applied
“Landlords are more willing to them than the homeless,” this is an admission without using the words that NIMBY truly exists and impacts the homeless and low-income from finding, applying, and achieving low-cost housing not only in Denver but across the United States
The article states that they have nearly maxed out the hotel shelters for the migrants, and they do not know what they will do when that occurs. But what about the struggling, suffering dying, hurting American Citizens, what about their needs?
I mean the city is even buying bus tickets for them to move on to different cities if they want to go to one. By the way, NIMBY, “Not In My Back Yard,” is the quiet and often denied force as to why low-income housing is not built or designed, but if the migrants need it….
What is to be the Outcome?
City after city is complaining and going broke trying to deal with both homelessness and the migrant crisis, but the tide is turning more and more to the migrant crisis thanks to the national government focus and this undermines our national security, safety and standing
Any person, from any nation, or country that wants to enter into this nation for legitimate reasons must go through the front door and come in by legal means, and earn their right to be here, not come in and steal from those already here. Veterans, senior citizens and the disabled are losing out due to this wrong focus and bad decision-making
But you must learn to read between the lines, the homeless are always drunks, addicts, bums, lazy and unwilling to fix their problems. You must listen for the code talk that paints a negative picture and justifies no help. How are they to end a recession, change wages, build housing, fix immigration, or change laws, what is to be the outcome
A Nation of Immigrants, but Not of Free Footing Do Nothings
America is a nation founded on freedom, liberty and the ability to pursue one’s own dreams and desires. But this has shifted in the past forty years as the government has become the Big Brother no one adopted. But, we yet remain a group of adopted immigrants from other lands, from either grandparents or great grandparents or the like.
But this we are not, standing by and expecting the government or society to give us free hand outs when we are supposed to be pursuing for ourselves. Now there comes a time and a season when we may not be able to prusue, but none should wander into the land and freely receive without effort
The Native Americans, the Indians, the have been so mistreated in this land are the only native born in this land, and all others are immigrants. But we have to learn that we come to his land to receive an equal and level standing and chance, not free hand outs without cause
Conclusion
Denver to close immigration camp, it has gotten to large. The immigrants have already used up their hotel stays. But the light does not dim, they are getting negotiated rental homes and apartments, the landlords are welcoming the illegals
Now death and disease is stalking the homeless camp in Denver’s downtown core and what do we hear, the statistic of the deaths and the push to understand it is drugs alone. This article does not reference or mention the truth of the homeless being based to a growing degree on rent unaffordability
Immigration is how all families start in this nation, but it has to be through the front door and not the back where the illegals outweigh the native born and steal the benefits of those dying on the streets. God designed this nation to welcome all, but He set it up to function in a certain way, and we have to follow His ways
